SUNHYEWON (鮮慧院), located in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, was once the residence of SK Group’s founder and has long represented the group’s history and traditions. Covenant developed SUNHYEWON’s brand identity by drawing inspiration from the Chinese character “鮮 (Sun)” and the structural elements of Hanok architecture. The signage system takes cues from the vertical script of traditional Korean books, creating a vertical rhythm, and uses materials such as stone, copper, and wood to reflect Hanok construction, adding depth and authenticity to the spatial experience. Together, these elements shape an identity that reflects SK’s heritage and aspirations with elegance and modern sensibility.
